Who will receive it?

The Singapore government has started the CDC voucher scheme to help all households buy essential items at participating stores, merchants, or supermarkets. Singaporeans wondering about the CDC voucher eligibility conditions can check them below:

  • The household that wishes to receive the CDC voucher assistance should have at least one member in the family who holds Singapore citizenship.
  • The eligibility depends on the household registartion regardless of household income and other criteria.

Singaporean households that meet the conditions do not need to apply for the CDC voucher scheme to receive the upcoming voucher; they would just need to claim it when it is disbursed by the government.

Voucher Amount

The Singapore government will release the CDC Voucher from 13 May 2025, where the voucher will be worth S$500, and the rest S$300 of the total S$800 will be disbursed in January 2026. As per the scheme guideline, the CDC voucher for each tranche will be divided equally for the households to spend at merchants/ hawkers participating in the scheme, as well as supermarkets.

So, the households can expect the upcoming CDC voucher to be divided as per their spending, where S$250 will be allotted for spending at merchants/ hawkers and S$250 at supermarkets participating in the scheme. The vouchers must be used by households before they expire on December 31, 2025.

How to claim the CDC Voucher?

When the Singaporean government starts sending the CDC vouchers for the households, one member who holds Singaporean citizenship can claim the voucher on behalf of the household to later use it for spending in the following steps:

  • Singaporeans should go to the CDC voucher official website at https://go.gov.sg/cdcv
  • Next, you should look for the CDC Voucher May 2025 and click the voucher.
  • After that, use your SingPass to access the portal and confirm your identity.
  • An SMS from gov.sg with a voucher access link will be sent to you by the authority when you check in using SingPass.
  • Once you click the shared access link or share it with other family members, you can access the voucher and select the voucher type to use for shopping.

Now, if the households do not have a smartphone or can’t navigate the online process, they can reach out to the nearest Community Centre/ Club (CC) or call the PA contact service at 6225 5322 during weekdays to request a physical voucher.

Where & How to spend it?

Singaporeans must use the CDC voucher carefully as it is only usable at merchants/ hawkers or supermarkets that are participating in the scheme. As of May 2025, around 23,000 merchants are registered for the CDC voucher scheme, where they accept the payment via CDC vouchers, whereas the supermarkets are as follows:

  • Sheng Siong
  • NTUC FairPrice
  • Ango Mo
  • Cold Storage
  • CS Fresh Gold Paragon
  • CS Fresh
  • Giant
  • Hao
  • Jason’s
  • Prime Supermarket
  • U Stars

The households can locate the nearby merchants/ hawkers, and supermarkets as per their location on the official government website at https://www.gowhere.gov.sg/cdcvouchers to spend the vouchers.

Singaporean households can spend the CDC Voucher by showing the voucher QR code to the supermarket or hawkers/ merchants when they pay for the things they bought. The spending process is the same as before, so Singaporeans should keep in mind that they have to use the voucher before it expires.
